Pirates WIP

Ro’s father is a pirate captain. Or at least he was, until his crew mutinied against him and made him walk the plank. Now, all she has left of him is an old coin, a letter with an unreadable message, and the bloodthirsty desire to track her father’s traitors down and exact her revenge.

However, one misstep later and she is brought before the king with a choice to be made: she can impersonate his secretly dead daughter or face the noose.

The decision is simple. Court, however, is not. Ro quickly finds out that court is not all ribbons and bows; it’s secrets and plots. Plots that may just threaten her life. And the only people who can help her is a man from her father’s old crew and the king’s grumpy bastard son, who is becoming a terrible distraction. If Ro is to survive this nest of vipers, she must work out who is behind these plots and whether they know her secret – before she meets her father’s fate.
